What this site is
Stories Circle is one small studio publishing web serials. Each series appears under a pen name. Pen names are labels for kinds of stories, not separate people, so a reader who likes one book can find its siblings.
Every story here is AI-assisted: drafts are written with the help of language models, then go through an editing and quality pipeline (continuity checks, a chapter-by-chapter craft review and revision). Stories that don't clear the bar aren't published. More in About.
Do I need an account?
No. Every story and chapter is free to read without an account. A free account is optional; it adds a personal library (Follows, Favorites, Read Later), your reading History, ratings, reviews and chapter comments. Create an account or log in.
Follow, Favorite and Read Later
The buttons under Start Reading on a story's page put it on one of three lists. They are private: only you see them.
- Follow
- Stories you are reading now. Your Follows list shows the latest updates so you can see new chapters.
- Favorite
- Stories you loved and want to keep. A favorite doesn't have to be one you are still reading.
- Read Later
- Stories you want to start some other day.
You can also follow a pen name from its author page. Your lists live in My Library (click your name at the top right once you are logged in); you can sort them there.
Continue reading and History
While you are logged in, the site remembers the last chapter you opened in each story. The story's page then shows a Continue reading button, and My Library → History lists the stories you read, most recent first, with how many new chapters came out since.
Without an account nothing is remembered between visits, other than your reading settings on this device.
Reading settings
On any chapter, open Reader Preferences above the text to change the font (serif or sans), the text size, the width of the column and the background (light, dark or sepia). The choices are saved in your browser on this device and apply to every chapter. The Theme button in the header switches day and night on every page. Use the ← and → keys to go to the previous or next chapter.
What “Best rated” means
The Best rated list is ordered by our own editorial quality score from the review pipeline, not by reader votes. Reader ratings are shown separately on each story's page, and a story's reader score appears only once at least 5 readers have rated it. We never invent readers: there are no fake reviews, ratings, follower counts or comments, and view counts come only from real visits.
Release schedule
Chapters are released on a schedule, usually one at a time, so a story you start today keeps growing. A story's table of contents shows when each chapter was published, and Latest updates lists the stories with new chapters first. A story marked Completed has all its chapters out.
Reporting a chapter or comment
At the end of each chapter there is a ⚑ Report chapter link for typos, broken formatting or content problems. Comments and reviews have their own ⚑ Report button (you need to be logged in). Reports are read by people. You can also write to us directly; see Contact. For copyright complaints, see Copyright & DMCA.
RSS feeds
Every story has its own RSS feed of new chapters. On the story's page, the RSS link sits next to the table of contents; its address is the story's address followed by /rss.xml. Add it to any feed reader to hear about new chapters without an account.
Community rules
The short version of the Terms of Service:
- Be kind: criticise stories, not people. No harassment, threats or hate.
- No spam, advertising, self-promotion or referral links.
- Mark spoilers for later chapters clearly.
- Nothing illegal, sexually explicit or copied from someone else.
- Don't post other people's personal information.
- Ratings and reviews must be your own honest opinion; one account per person.
Posts from accounts less than 24 hours old are held for review before they appear. We may hide posts or disable accounts that break the rules.
Deleting your account
Log in and go to Account, then use Delete Account at the bottom. It permanently deletes your account and everything linked to it: your library, reading progress, ratings, reviews and comments. It cannot be undone. See the Privacy Policy for details.
